Des Findlay was born in Montreal in 1926. He played junior football with the Westmount Warriors (Montreal) before joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1951. Findlay returned to play for his hometown Montreal Alouettes for three years from 1952 to 1954. Des Findlay passed away on January 20, 2006.
