Dan Ferrone was a territorial exemption of the Toronto Arognauts in the 1981 CFL Coilege Draft, and other than one Season in Calgary, played his entire 12 year CFL career with the Argos. Ferrone played with the Argos from 1981 to 1988, before spending one year with the Stampeders in 1989, after being taken in an equalization draft. After th 1989 season, Ferrone quickly resigned with Toronto as a free agent. Ferrone was a nine time division All-Star, winning 83-87 inclusively with Toronto in the East, 1989 in his one year in Calgary as West All-Star, and three more times from in 1990, 1991 and 1992 back in the East with the Argos. Ferrone was also a five time CFL All-Star, winning in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1990 and 1991. Ferrone was also twice a bridesmaid for the Oustanding Offensive Lineman Award, winning the East in 1984 and 1985, runner-up in the final voting. Ferrone lost to John Bonk in 1984 and to Nick Bastaja in 1985. Ferrone was nominated as the Argo's Outstanding 8 times, including his rookier year in 1981 and his final year in 1992. Ferrone was also Calgary's nominee in his one season there in 1989, giving him 9 nominations in 12 years.
