Peter Eshenko was a territorial draft pick of the Edmonton Eskimos in the 1982 CFL college draft. Eshenko was an all-star receiver with the University of Alberta and had scored three touchdowns in the 1980 college final. Eshenko was traded to the Montreal Concordes (a temporary renaming of the Alouettes) just prior to the start of the 1982 season. Eshenko had 8 catches in his rookie season.
