Coming from a relatiely unknown school (Bucknell), Kevin Eiben was a fourth round draft pick of the Toronto Argonauts in 2001. Eiben's selection turned out to be a very good deal for Toronto as Eiben developed into one of the best linebackers of the first decade of the new century. Eiben won five East All-Stars (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010), three CFL All-Stars (2004, 2005 and 2007), and was twice named the outstanding Canadian in the East and runner-up in the CFL. (2004, 2005). Eiben had three seasons with more than 100 defensive tackles, 10 career interceptions, 12 career fumble recoveriesand 15 career quqrterback sacks. Eiben played a total of 12 seasons rom 2001 to 2012, all but one with the Double Blue and finishing his career with Hamilton. Eiben made one trip to the Grey Cup in 2004 and that was a victgory over the B.C. Lions. Eiben retired following the 2012 season.
