Ted Dushinski

Born in Saskatoon and a product of the Saskatoon Hilltops Junior program, Ted Dushinski was one of the defensive stars on the Saskathewan Roughriders for much of the "George and Ronnie" era.  Dushinski played te 11 seasons for the green and white from 1965 to 1975, and finished his career with two seasons on the coast with BC.  Dushinski recorded at least one interception for 11 consecutive seasons, missing out only his his rookie season and his final season.  In total, Dushinski had 35 career interceptions with a career high of 6 in 1969 and again in 1973.  Dushinski also recorded 12 career fumble recoveries and three career touchdowns, two on interceptin returns and one on a fumble return.  Dushinski won a pair of West All-Stars at defensive back (1970 and 1975) and as well was part of the 1966 Grey Cup win by Saskatchewan.
