Henry (Hank) Dorsch

The pride of Weyburn, Saskatchwan, Hank Dorsch played 8 seasons for the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1964 to 1971.  Dorsch was the backup fullback which in the George Reed days meant he didn't see a lot of action on offense, but Dorsch was also a dependable defensive back. Dorsch's best season offensively was in the Roughrider's Grey Cup winning season in 1966 when he had 177 yards rushing and a very respectable 5.3 yard average.  Defensively, Dorsch had 6 career interceptions and 5 career fumble recoveries.  4 of Dorsch's interceptions came in his second last season in 1970.
