Al Dorow was an All-American quarterback at Michigan State, leading the Spartans to the national championship in 1951. Dorow was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 1952 NFL college draft. Dorow spent two years in the military before joining Washington in 1954. Dorow also played for the Philadelpia Eagles before coming the the CFL for two seasons. Dorow split 1958 with BC (Vancouver at the time) and Saskatchewan and spent 1959 with the Toronto Argonauts. Dorow then returned to the states with the start of the AFL and played for the New York Titans and the Buffalo Bills. After retiring from footbal, Dorow coach in the U.S. College ranks at HIllsdale Colege and then as an assistant coach with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Al Dorow passed away on December 7, 2009.
