Harry Daniels was born in Winnipeg and so naturally his first pro team was the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Winnipeg media guides lists Daniels for 1945, 1946 and 1948. He probably attended training camp in 1945, but did not play any regular season games. Daniels dressed for at least one game with the Bombers in 1946. In 1948, he might have been with the Bombers in training camp before going to Toronto for 1948-1950. Daniels went on to join the Montreal Alouettes for three games in 1951. Daniels played exibition games, but no regular season games for Winnipeg in 1953 and 1954.
