Andy Currie played for the Regina Pats (junior) team in 1928 and was then called up to the Regina Roughriders during that season. Currie was off to university at Manitoba in 1929, played again with Regina and 1930 and returned to Manitoba in 1931. Currie played with St. John's College in 1932 and then when St. John's merged with the Winnipeg F.C. to form the Blue Bombers, played with them in 1933 and 1934.
