Crifo was a third round pick (21st overall) by Winnpeg in the 1988 CFL draft. Crifo joined the Bombers in 1989 and saw limited action in his first two seasons, dressing for 3 games in 1989 and 11 games in 1990. In the two years, he t otalled 7 receptions. Things turned around for Crifo in 1991 when he appeared in all 18 games and his 39 catches made him an Eastern All-Star. Crifo followed that up in 1992 with an even better season, catching 53 passes and picking up his second Eastern All-Star recognition. Things didn't go so well for Crifo in 1993 as he appeared in just four games for the Bombers with only two receptions before being released in September. The Ottawa Rough Riders signed Crifo later that month and he caught 15 passes in 7 games for them. Ottawa traded Crifo to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in May of 94, but he was released in August of 1994. Toronto signed Crifo and he completed the 94 season with the Argos. In 1995, Crifo bounced back to make 35 catches in just 14 games wit h the Toronto and then became a free agent at the end of the season. Crifo was signed by the MOntreal Alouttes prior to the 1996 season, but was released in June before the season started. Hamilton signed Crifo as a free agent in September of 96 and he played 8 games for them before being released in November of 1996.
Crifo threw one pass and completed it for a 56 yard TD in 1995 with Toronto. Crifo ran the ball once for -9 yards in 1995. Crifo had one kickoff return for 0 yards in 1992.
