Chronopoulos was a first round pick (third overall) by Ottawa in the 1992 CFL College Draft. Chronopoulos dressed for all 18 games in his two seasons with Ottawa (1992 and 1993) and was named an East All-Star in 1993. Chronopoulos was traded to BC along with Andrew Stewart and linebacker Angelo Snipes for Kent Warnock prior to the 1994 season. Chronopoulos signed as a free agent with Calgary in March of 1995.
