Case played three years with the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1980 to 1982, putting up some pretty decent pass completion numbers. Injuries, and other reasons, however kept him from putting up really good passing yard numbers. Case played 11 games in 1980, backing up HOF Conredge Holloway. He completed a very nice 68.2% of his 107 passes. In 1981, with Holloway gone, Case played 10 and with 209 pass attempts was the closest thing to a regular QB that year as Ottawa used a multitude of players. Case's pass completion percentage of 61.7% was highly respectable but he only threw 4 TD passes to 7 interceptions. Case played in only 9 games in 1982, with only 65 pass attempts.
