Byron Capers

Capers signed as a free agent with Toronto in May of 1998.  Capers played three and a part seasons with the Argos, before being traded to the BC Lions on July 16, 2001.  The Lions released Capers on August 6, 2001, and he signed with Winnipeg to make them his third team of the year on August 20, 2001.  It was a productive seven games with Winnipeg, as Capers recorded four interceptions.  Capers finished the year with the Bombers and started the 2002 season in Winnipeg before being released in August, 2002.  The expansion Ottawa Renegades picked up Capers in October 2002 and he renamined with Ottawa though October, 2004.
