Larry Butler only played six years in the CFL, from 1976-1982, but he was a division All-Star in all six seasons. Butler won four East All-Stars with Hamilton from 1976 to 1979 and two more when he moved to Winnipeg in 1980 and 1981. In three of those years, Butler was also a CFL All-Star (1979, 1980 and 1981). In all four years with Hamilton (1976-1979), Butler was nominated as Hamilton's Oustanding Offensive Lineman, and in 1981 he was Winnipeg's nominee. In 1981, Butler won the CFL Oustanding Offensive Lineman Award.
