Wes Bryant was born in Texarkana, Arkansas and played college football at Arkansas. While with the Razorbacks, Bryant played in three bowl games, the Sugar Bowl in 1962 and 1963, and the Hulu Bowl in 1964. Bryant also palyed in the East-West Shrine Bowl in 1963. Bryant was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings, and then joined the Toronto Argonauts after his release by the Vikings for three games in 1965. Bryant had an education degree from Arkansas, and later added a Masters from Texas Southern in Educational Administration. After his football playing days were over, Bryant went on to teach and coach at the high school level for 44 years.Wes Bryant passed away on February 11, 2010.
