Romby Bryant played college ball at Tulsa and signed as a free agent with Winnipeg in 2008. The Bombers had lots of receiving talent, but Milt Stegall was injured and that game Bryan a chance. Bryant responded with a fine rookie season with 65 catches in 1206 yards. With Stegall back in 2009, Bryant became expendable and he was traded in September, 2009 to Calgary along with Arjei Franklin and a third round draft pick for Odell Willis, Jabari Arthur, Titus Ryan, Derek Armstron and fourth and sixth round draft picks. In his first full season in 2010 in Calgary, Bryant had his second thousand yard season with 77 catches for 1167 yards. Bryant numbers slipped significantly in 2011 and 2012, and he was released by Calgary in January, 2013, just prior to him becoming a free agent. Bryant Released by Calgary - January 30, 2013
