Bryant was a sixth round draft pick by the New York Jets of the NFL in 1991. He was released in August of 1992 and signed by Winnipeg as a free agent in April of 1993. The Bombers released Bryant in August of 1993 and signed as a free agent by Saskatchewan. Bryant was transferred back to Winnipeg in October of 1993. Bryant had a big year in 1994, rushing for 1289 yards, but his numbers declined in 1995 and 1996, and was released in February of 1997.
