Jim Brady played two seasons (1971-72) at Arizona State. Brady is listed as a quertback, but played mainly at running back. In the two seasons, he had just 6 pass attempts but had 30 rushing attempts and 34 pass receptions. Despite that lack of game experience at quarterback in college, Brady was invited to the 1973 Alouettes training camp to challenge for a quarterback spot. The alouettes had Sonny Wade and George Mira as the incumbents and one of the other rookie QBs was a future star in Jimmy Jones. Brady ended up not seeing much action. He dressed for 5 games, but never threw a pass, once again being used at running back and a backup at quarterback.
