David Boston was a first round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in the 1999 NFL College Draft. Boston went on to play six seasons in the NFL (1999-2005) with Arizona, San Diego and Miami. Boston with two thousand plus yard seasons including a spectaculr 98 catch and 1598 yard season with Arizona in 2001. After leaving Arizona following the 2002 season, and signing a large contract with the Chargers, Boston's NFL career took a tumble. Boston was traded to Miami after just one season for a sixth round draft pick and then had injury problems (torn knee ligaments) and missed the entire 2004 season due to a suspection for sterioid use. Boston had a tryout with Tampa Bay in 2006 but was released and didn't play in 2007. In total, Boston had 315 catches for 4699 yards. Boston was a high profile signing by Toronto in 2008, but after two years out of football, Boston's comeback with the Argos lasted only one game and two catches.
