Born in Toronto, Wayne Blair went South to play college ball at Tulane. Blair was drafted in the first round of the supplemental draft in 1999 by the Calgary Stampeders. Blair played one game with Calgary before being released on July 14, 1999. Blair was picked up by Ontreal early in August, 1999 and played four games for the Larks. Montreal released Blair in March of 2013 and he was promptly signed by the Toronbto Argonauts. Blair would play four games in double blue, before being released in August, 2000. Blair saerved as abackup at linebacker and on special teams, recording 3 special teams tackles in 9 games and recording one fumble recovery.
