From the University of West Virginia, Richard (Scooter) Berry signed as a free agent with the Montreal Alouttes in 2012. Berry joined the Alouettes from the Jacksonville Sharks of the Arena Football League.

Scooter Berry to miss remainder of season

The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that defensive tackle Scooter Berry suffered a torn ACL and LCL during Thursday night's game versus the Edmonton Eskimos.
Berry, who tallied seven defensive tackles and one interception in five games this year will be out for the remainder of the season.
