Form West Texas A&M, Dalton Bell had a tryout with the Green Bay Packers in 2007 nd then spent time on the practice roster of the Seattle Sea Hawks in 2008. After his release by Seattle, Bell signed as a free agent with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in October of 2008, but did not dress for any games that season. In 2009, Bell dressed for all 18 games for the Riders, but did not see any game action. Prior to th estart of the 2010 season, Bell was traded to Toronto for a fifth round draft pick in the 2010 CFL college draft. Bell served as the backup quarterback for two seasons with the Argonauts and was released prior to the 2012 season.
