Freeman Baysinger

Baysinger was a 12th round draft pick of the New England Patriots.  He was released in August of 1992 by New England and signed by the expansion Sacremento Gold Mners in April of 1993.  After playing 13 games for Sacremento with 48 catches, Baysinger was traded to BC for two players on the Lions negotiaton list.  After playing just six games for BC in 1994, Baysinger became a free agent and was signed by the Shreveport Pirates in 1995 where he led the CFL in kickoff returns with 50 for 1023 yards.  Baysinger was selected in the fifth round of the dispersal draft when the US teams folded.  BC signed Baysinger as a free agen in August of 1996 and he played 5 games for them before being rleased and signed by Winnipeg on October 2,  Baysinger completed the 1996 season with Winnipeg and was released in April, 1997.
