Barker was a fifth round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers of the NFL in 1995. After his release by Green Bay, Barker had stints with New England and Carolina. He signed as a free agent with Toronto in April of 1998, and spent three seasons with the Argos from 1998 to 2000.
