A product of Simon Fraser, Terry Bailey played nine years in the CFL for the BC Lions. Bailey started out more as a running back, Bailey played in the years that the CFL was transitioning towards a more pass orientated game and he began to be used more as a receiver. Bailey had 30 carries in his first season in 1974 and 60 in 1975, but was rarely used as a ball carrier after that, becoming more of a wing back in ther terminology of the time and one of the first slot backs in the CFL. Bailey's best year came in 1977 when he caught 50 passes for 558 yards.
