Sandy ArmstrongArmstrong signed as a free agent with Montreal in March of 1984 and played three seasons for the Concordes / Alouettes, recording 21.5 quarterback sacks. Armstrong was traded to BC after the 1986 season to complete a previous deal in which Montreal had obtained offensive tackler Brian Illerbrun for a first round draft pick and future consideratoins. Armstrong was released by BC in June of 1986, and he was later picked up by Calgalry in August where he played two games.
Official defensive tackle stats were first kept in 1987.
