Paul Archer played college football at St. Mary's and was a fourth round draft pick of the Montreal Alouettes in the 2003 CFL College Draft.  Archer joined the Als in 2005 and remained with them until 2007 when he joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers late in the season.  Archer played both playoff games and the Grey Cup with the Bombers which they lost to Saskatchewan..
