Roy Annany was an all around athlete, playing multiple sports including hockey, curling, basketball and of course football. Annany played halfback for the Ottawa Combines of the ORFU in 1943, and then spent three seasons with the Ottawa Rough Riders of the IRFU / Big Four after the war from 1945 to 1947. Beyond football, Annany served his community in a number of positions, including policeman, fireman, businessman and realtor. Roy Annany passed away on April 12, 2011.
No games played stats were kept in the East until 1960.
