Allen was signed by BC in May of 1991. He was released in August of 1991, but resigned and rejoined the Lions in May of 1992. Allen was released for the second time by the Lions in August of 1994 and signed by the Las Vegas Posse in September and played one game for them. Allen was drafted in the third round by Saskatchewan in the dispersal draft of th US teams, but did not play any regular season games for the Riders.
