Marcus (Chunky) Adams took his nickname from his dimension, packing 285 pounds onto a five foot eleven frame. Adams played defensive tackle for the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 2003 to 2010 (Adams didn't dress for any games in 2004). In his first few seasons with the Riders, Adams didn't see a whole lot of action, acting as a backup on the defensive line to Nate Davis. Adams took over as the regular tackle when Davis was released, and was part of the Rider Grey Cup win in 2007 and played in both the 2009 and 2010 Grey Cup losses to Montreal. Adams was released by the Riders prior to the 2011 season. Adams signed with Edmonton, but was released before the season started.
