The big defensive end signed with Edmonton as a free agent in July of 2002. He played three seasons in Edmonton before being released in February of 2005. Abdullah signed with Calgary and played two seasons with the Stampeders (2005-2006). After his rlease by Calgary, he resigned with Edmont in 2007. Abdullah recorded 32 career sacks, including a career high of 9 in 2006 with Calgary. Abdullah's younger brother Khalid Abdullah also played in the CFL.
