Jim Speros

Jim Speros was born in Gret Falls, VA and graduated from Clemson. Sperso served as an assistant coach in the NFL with both Washington and Buffalo. With the expansion of the CFL into th eU.S., Speros became the owner of the Baltimore Stallions for the two seasons the team operated (1994-95). Baltimore was aq city hungry for football after the Colts galloped off to Indianapolis and the t eam sold out all its home games for the two seasons. When the other American teams folded after the 1995 season, the Stallions wree relocated to Montreal to restart the Montreal Alouettes franchise. Sperso remained the owner and president of the Alouettes for 1996 before selling the t eam.

Speros has shown interest in owning a Virginia based team in the United Foiotball League.,It was serious enough that Sperso was at one point bamned the owner of the expansion Virginia Destroyers, but backed out citing problems with the structure of the league.
