Leo Dandurand was one of the original founders and owners of the Montreal Alouettes. In 1946, Dandurand, along with Lew Heyman and Eric Cradock formed the Alouettes. Dandurand remained an owner of the Alouetgtes until he sold his share in 1951. Besides football, Dandurand was well known for his involvement in numerous other sports in Montreal.
