WINNIPEG 50, Calgary 7 (18,389) - Carver Shannon added four converts to his three touchdowns for a 22-point effort, as the Bombers led 27-0 at the half and cruised to a third straight win

TORONTO 36, Montreal 14 (26,524) - Tobin Rote tossed five TD passes to put the Argos in first place. Rote's performance set an Eastern Conference passing record, 38 completions out of 55 throws for 525 yards

Brit Col 31, SASKATCHEWAN 21 (14,105) - A blocked FG attempt, a pass interception and a fumble on the part of Riders resulted in three Lions TDs in the second quarter as BC went ahead 21-0 after a scoreless first quarter

Edmonton 13, SASKATCHEWAN 11 (6,608) - FB Johnny Bright scored a TD with only 15 seconds left as Edmonton came from behind. Bright ran for for a season total of 1,268 yards, ending his quest for a 4th straight rushing title
OTTAWA 38, Toronto 1 (19,199) - Ottawa HB Ron Stewart scored two TDs with runs of 19 and three yards to bring his season total to 16, one short of the mark held by Pat Abbruzzi of Montreal

1960 GREY CUP GAME AT VANCOUVER (Saturday, November 26 - 38,102)
OTTAWA ROUGH RIDERS 16, EDMONTON ESKIMOS 6 - In the fourth quarter, with Ottawa leading 9-6, Edmonton punt returner Joe Bob Smith fumbled on his own 2-yard line after being hit by Lou Bruce. Ottawa's Kaye Vaughan recovered the ball as it rolled into the end zone for a Rider touchdown. Jackie Parker ran back the ensuing kickoff 74 yards but Edmonton could not take advantage. Fans rushed onto the field with 41 seconds left. The officials had to cancel the remainder of the game. NOTES: Ottawa running back Ron Stewart was named the game's Most Valuable Player...Edmonton had only 44 yards rushing...It was Ottawa's first Grey Cup since 1951...Vaughan’s fumble recovery touchdown was his first touchdown in 14 years of football
