Synopsis
After five years (1928-32), in which St. John's College won the Manitobar title, but lost to the Regina Roughriders, they merged with the Winnipeg Football Club.  The stronger Manitoba team went on to defeat Regina in the West playoffs.  Instead of getting a berth into the Grey Cup, however, they were forced to play a semi-final game against the Toronto Argonauts which the Toronto club won.  The Grey Cup that years was held betgween the Argos and the Sarnia Imperials of the ORFU with the Argonnauts winning.
