Stanley Washington

Washington was a fourth round draft pick of the Michigan Panthers in the 1983 USFL draft.  Washington had a tryout with the Baltimore Colts of the NFL before signing with the Montreal Concordes in May of 1984. After catching 14 passes in 4 games for Montreal, Washington was traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in September of 1984 for SB Don Newman.  Putting his Rider and Concordes stats together, Washington did not havee bad seaso, catching 34 passes for 514 yeards in only 10 games.  Washington didn't play for hte Riders in 1985 and was released in August of that year.  He was signed by Toronto in September of 1985 and played just one game for them.
