William Paul (Bill) Troup III

Bill Troup was a quarterback who playedat high school football at Bethel Park in Pittsburgh and where he is a member of their Hall of Fame.  Troup went on to play college ball at Virginia and South Carolina and then to the NFL.  Troup played four seasons with the Baltimore Colts from 1974 to 1978 (not playing in 1975) mainly as a backup, but he did have 296 pass attempts in his final season in 1978.

Troup joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1979 and played one season as a backup to starter Dieter Brock. Troup returned to the NFL in 1980 where he played for the Green Bay Packers.

Bill Troup passed away on December 14,2013.
