Ken Sugarman

Ken Sugarman played nine years in the CFL, all with BC, from 1964 to 1972.  Sugarman joined the Lions in 1964 as a replacement for offensive tackle (and future hall of famer) Bill Frank Frank who had run into some discipline areas.  As a bonus, Sugarman got to play on the first Grey Cup winner in BC franchise history.  Sugarman won four West All-Stars, two at offensive tackle (1968 and 1971), and two at offensive guard (1969 and 1970).  Sugarman also won one CFL All-Star at guard in 1970.  Sugarman was the BC nominee for Outstanding Lineman in both 1969 and 1970.
