Bruce Smith

From the University of Colorado, Bruce Smith is probably best remembered as a Toronto Argonaut where he played his final four seasons (1976-79) and where he remained after he retired from football.

Smith, however played for three other CFL steams before joining the Argnonauts.  Smith signed as a free agent with the Hamilton tiger-Cats in 1972 and won the Grey Cup with the Tiger-Cats in his rookie season. Smith spent two seasons with Hamilton (1972-73), one with Edmonton (1974), and one with Ottawa (1975) before joining the Argnoanauts.

Following his football career, Smith became a successfull real-estate agent in Toronto, a public speaker, children's author and was also active in charity work.

Bruce Smith passed away on January 3, 2013.
