Don Simon

After playing junior football in Edmonton, Don Simon joined the Eskimos in 1949.  Simon played 9 season for Edmonton, mainly as a backup running back and returning punts. With runners like Parker, Kwong, Brigh and Miles, there was not a lot of touches left for the backup, and Simon's most productive year came in 1950 when he had 34 carries for 214 yards.  Simon was part of the three consecutive Grey Cup won by Edmonton in 1954, 1955 and 1956.
