Al Shipman

Shipman started his CFL career as a running back with Memphis in 1995. When the American teams folded after the 1995 season, Shipman was selected by Edmonton in the dispersal draft (first round, seventh overall).  Shipman was released by Edmonton before playing any games for them and was signed by Ottawa as a free agent in 1996, playing just one game for them.  The BC Lionssigned Shipman in March of 1997 and he played two seasons for them as a receiver and kick returner.
