Bob Schloredt didn't let blindness in one eye prevent him from becoming one of the University of Washington's greatest quarterbacks.Schloredt lost sight in his left eye after a fireworks accident in Wyoming when he was five years old.
Moving to Oregon, Schloredt attended Gresham High School in suburban Portland went on to Seattle where he played quarterback and defensive back for Washington from 1958 to 1960. He was drafted by the AFL's Dallas Texans in 1961, but chose to head north to the BC Lions. After two seasons in Vancouver, he became an assistant coach at his alma mater for 11 years and later coached in Hawaii. Where Are They Now?
