Norm Rauhaus

Norm Rauhaus played junior footall in Winnipeg for the Weston Wildcats and then didn't stray from home as he played 12 years for the Blue Bombers from 1956 to 1967. Rauhaus started contributing to the Winnipeg cause right from the start with 4 intercerceptions on his rookie season. In total, Rauhause would go on to intercept 34 passes, one he would return for a touchdown and to recover 14 fumbles, taking two of those back for touchdowns. Rauhause was a big part of the Winnipeg dynasty of the late 1950s and early 1960s that won four Grey Cups (1958, 1959, 1961 and 1962) in five appearances (losing in 1957). While he played mainly at defensive back, Rauhaus also contributed as a backup receiver on offence. Rauhaus won a West All-Star at defensive back in 1961.
