Phil Price

Phil Price was a big part of a very good Montreal defensive backfield in the mid 1970s.  After playing college ball at Idaho State, Price joined the Als in 1973 and played four seasons for the Larks.  In those four years, Price rang up 21 pass interceptions and 5 fumble recoveries, taking two interceptions back for touchdowns.  Price's best year was in 1974, when he had 7 picks, second in the East.  Price won two East All-Star selections at defensive back, in 1974 and again in 1976.  Pr ice split his final season in the CFL between Saskatchwan and Edmonton, adding one more intercepton to raise his career total to 22 and two more fumble recoveries.
