After playing junior football witgh the Rosemount Bombers, LMaurice Levesque served in the Canadian Navy and also played football with a Halifax based Navy team. Levesque joined the Montreal Alouettes in 1963 and played three seasons (1963-65) with th eLarks. Levesque then went on to play one season in Saskatchewan (1966) where he helped the Riders win their first Grey Cup in franchise history. Levesque then finished his career with Ottawa in 1967.
