Butch Lee was an oustanding highschool football player in Birmingham, AL and went on to star at the University of Alabama. During the second world war, Lee served his country in the U.S Navy. Lee played one season for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1948 as an end.
Following his football career, Lee had a long career as a science teacher and highschool football coach.
Butch Lee passed away on May 21, 2013.
