Rob Kochel

Rob Kochel played college football at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and was once named the Most Valuable Athlete in that city.  Kochel was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in 1978.  A two way player, Kochel was used at defensive back by the Stamps. Kochel's versatility at being able to play multiple position in the Calgary secondary helped him earn and keep a spot for three seasons (1978-80) with the Stmaps.  Kochel dressed for a total of 40 games in his three seasons.  Kochel was also with Calgary for part of 1981, but only on the practice roster.
