Blair Kiel

 

Blair Kiel was a star highschool quarterback, taking his Columbus, Indiana team to a state championship.  Kiel went on to play for Notre Dame from 1980-83, becomign their starting quarterback.  Kiel was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 11th round of the 1984 NFL college draft.  Kiel would play seven seasons in the NFL, mianly as a backup with Tampa Bay, Green Bay and the Indianapolis Colts from 1984 to 1991.  Kiel joined the Toronto Argonautgs for one season in 1992.  Blair Kiel passed away on April 8, 2012.
