Jim Keane

An end out of Iowa, Jim Keane is best remembered as a Chicago Bear, but he did play part of one season in the CFL wtih Saskatchewan in 1952.  Kean played six seasons with the Bears from 1946-51.  Keane and the Bears won the league championship in his rookie season in 1946, and in 1947 Keane led the NFL in receiving with 64 catches for 910 yards and 10 touchdowns.  Keane would go to lead the Bears in receiving in four straight seasons (1947-50), a feat that has not yet been equaled.  Keane also holds the Bears single game record for most catches with 14.  Keane joined the Green Bay Packers in 1952, before after his brief stint in Saskatchewan. Jim Keane passed away on March 8, 2011.
