James Jefferson

Jefferson signed as a free agent with Winnipeg and played three seasons for the Bombers from 1986 to 1988. He had an especially good season in 1987, being named to the West and All-Canadian All-Star teams. In 1987, he had a career high 8 interceptions and scored four touchdowns, two on intereption returns, one on a fumble return and one on a punt return. Jefferson became a free agent after the 1988 season and signed with the Seattle Sea Hawks of the NFL. He returned to the CFL in 1994, signing with BC. He was released after one eason with the Lions in November of 1994 and rejoined Winnipeg as a free agent for the 1995 season. The Bombers released him in September of 1995, and he resigned with BC to finish the season.
